My ApproachTo me, the purpose of counselling and psychotherapy is to enable people to lead as satisfying and fulfilling lives as possible. One way to do this is by increasing awareness of yourself and what is happening in your life. Talking to a therapist gives you the opportunity to explore your concerns and can lead the way to you discovering creative solutions to your problems. You may realise that you have more choices in life than you thought. Sometimes people come to see me because they need to resolve some unfinished business from their past that is holding them back.
My ExperienceI have been working with clients since 1989, both in private practice and for various agencies. I co-founded and jointly ran a counselling organisation for 10 years.
